We all know healthy eating includes lots of fruit and vegetables. We believe a full healthy lifestyle also includes eating local and seasonal and getting involved with the local community.

Unlike supermarkets, we don’t need to buy our stock advance in bulk and freeze it before we sell it on. That means we can pick the best produce of the moment and pass it on to you.

We aim to source as much as possible from our local farmers. Of course we cant rely on the British weather for everything, so we do look further afield for those exotic treats, and we always opt for Fairtrade and organic when available.

We also believe in hiring only those who are as passionate about what we do as we are. People who are keen to tell you what is best in stock at the moment and what recipes you can use to make the most of your purchase. We’ve recorded some of our favourite recipes on the site, but there always space for more, so get in touch and let us know how you make your specialities.
